First Generation KPOP Fin.K.L's Ok Ju Hyun Destroys Hater On Instagram

“A shark that does not let go."

On June 25, 2020, first generation K-Pop girl group Fin.K.L‘s Ok Ju Hyun shared to her fans a series of Instagram stories of her openly criticizing a hater spreading malicious rumors about her.

The mentioned hater was accusing her of eliminating contestant Ku Bon Su in the popular TV audition program Phantom Singer 3 where she participates as a judge. Ok Ju Hyun was being blamed because during June 12, 2020 episode of the program, Ok Ju Hyun shared constructive criticism for Ku Bon Su.

Ku Bon Su then ultimately failed to make it to the next round. Ku Bon Su's fans were rritated and passed the blamed for Ku Bon Su’s elimination to Ok Ju Hyun. They insisted that the program should re-think the round.

Ok Ju Hyun's series of Instagram stories featured a screenshot of her Instagram DMs where she threatened legal action during an exchange with one of the viewers who left hate messages.

Ok Ju Hyun's threat of legal action immediately terrified the sender who began apologizing.

However, Ok Ju Hyun insisted that she will pursue legal action against the hate.

Despite the evident hostility during the exchange, KPOP fans are rooting for Ok Ju Hyun. They are proud of her decision to show no leniency and hope to see more KPOP idols to have this kind of reaction when it comes to dealing with malicious comments.
