What I-LAND Trainee Lee Heeseung Felt About Seeing His Friends In TXT Debut Without Him

KPOP fans around the world had their eyes on I-Land ever since it was announced. The first episode aired a few days ago and the fans did not hesitate to show their curiosity and excitement. 

One of the trainees that caught the eyes of the viewers was Big Hit Entertainment trainee Lee Heeseung. This was evident when he first appeared on screen, Zico and Rain was impressed by his visuals. Rain also showed interest in him because Lee Heeseung had the longest training period out of all the trainees in the show.

Founder and co-CEO of Big Hit Entertainment, Bang Si Hyuk also known as "Hitman" Bang, explained that Lee Heeseung has been training in his company for 3 years.

 Lee Heeseung Open Up About His Trainee Years

Lee Heeseung revealed that when he joined the company, he spent his time training alongside TXT for years as the latter prepared for their debut which led to them becoming close with one another. 


When I first got into Big Hit Entertainment, there was a debut group called TXT. We trained for a long time together.”

As a close friend with all of the members of TXT, Lee Heesung wanted to celebrate their dream coming true with sincerity but he was going through a hard time which prevented him from doing so.


Although he couldn’t break through to become a member of TXT and be alongside his friends, he can still make them proud and achieve his dream through I-LAND

Lee Heesung revealed that even though he couldn't debut alongside his friends to become part of TXT, he still want to make them proud and achieve his dream of debuting by joining I-Land.

My goal here is to definitely make my debut. I’ll put my everything into it.
